Empowering Others to Find Their Voice
From the moment I learned how to read and write, I fell in love. Words and stories awakened me! Books became an escape, helping me travel into other worlds and teaching me to see through the eyes of others. The writing was a release, engaging me, and showing me how to process life. Reading and writing gave me clarity and comfort and provided me a deep connection to myself and the world.
It only took me 52 times around the sun to figure this out, but one thing I know for sure: I was born to write. Not just for me to write, but to encourage all to write. I am here to empower others to find their voice. I believe everyone has a story to tell, and when we share it, we are gifting a sacred piece of ourselves. There is such glory in that.
It doesn’t matter where you share your story. It could be a heartfelt Facebook post or your personal website. Or maybe, just maybe, you are ready to tackle that memoir you've been itching to write. (I’ve helped with all those tasks!) Inherently, you know, it is through story we make meaningful impact. And because we are willing to crack ourselves open and scatter our astonishing debris of lessons and losses and love, we find ourselves breathing deeper and walking ever so joyfully. Simply put: writing your story is good for your soul.
My intention for this website and blog is clear: impart my passion and show you that you too can write! Forget about what that pretentious Lit teacher once told you. Shut down that maniacal voice in your head, that glutton for poor grammar who cares less about a damn Oxford comma and runs rampant howling: What makes you think you can write?
I promise, if you have the desire, you can. You will.

Whether you are New York Times Bestselling author or a wannabe writer; no matter if you are a passive-voice user or a full-fledged word-maker-upper: I see you. I feel you. I am you! Just know when you subscribe to my blog, every word, each post will be packing in the purpose. I won’t post for the sake of SEO (although there will be a smidge of that, thanks, Google!). I’m not following any schedule set forth by anything other than my intuition and what you tell me you want. I promise to keep content fresh and useful, hopefully entertaining.
